Sommerville Makes Canada Proud With Third Place Finish in the World Crown 300
Saint John, NB, Canada 11/16/10-During this weekend’s World Crown driver introductions the announcer made the mistake of saying “Lonnie Sommerville from Barnesville, Georgia” was driving the #23 A.E. McKay Builders/Pub’s Bottle Exchange Chevy Impala SS. Well at the end of 300 laps of racing around the super fast Gresham Motorsports Park half mile oval with a third place trophy in his hand they sure became a lot more familiar with the driver who hails from “Barnesville, New Brunswick, Canada”; Lonnie Sommerville. |

The twenty-one year old driver set the fifth fastest time during time trials and the piloted his #47 Magnum’s Oilfield Service Ford Fusion to a seventh place finish for his seventh top ten finish of 2010. |
Matt Daley to Closeout 2010 Season with Southeast Limited Late Model Series at Hickory Wake Forest, NC 10/11/10-This season seventeen year driver Matt Daley from Wake Forest, NC made the full transition to full size stock cars after a short yet successful stint behind the wheel of a four cylinder machine at Wake County Speedway. Knowing that 2010 would be a learning year for Daley the decision to compete in longer distance races that the Southeast Limited Late Model series has to offer only makes logical sense in order to prepare the driver more for a more aggressive schedule in 2011. |
