Hogan’s Solid Finish at “The Rattler” Leads to Heavy Anticipation for Nashville

Cleveland, GA 3/10/08- Although there are very few racetracks around the southeastern United States that Jason Hogan, a ten year veteran of late model racing hasn’t had success at, the Music City Motorplex located in downtown Nashville, Tennessee always seems to rise to the top in terms of on track success. In 2005 Hogan captured the pinnacle of wins at the historic half mile oval winning the All-American 400 held annually at the track in November.

Coming off of his solid fourth place finish at the 32nd Annual Rattler weekend at the South Alabama Speedway, Hogan will look to carry the momentum his team has built to the Nashville track along with a new sponsor for the event, Spring Hill Suites-Nashville Airport. After competing in his first two events of the 2008 season under the #21 Water Works Car Wash of Crystal River, FL, banner Hogan will be back behind the wheel of his familiar #92 Hogan Motorsports Chevy Monte Carlo.

“We’ll be back behind the wheel of the #92 at Nashville that’s for sure and we will have longtime Nashville sponsor Spring Hill Suites-Nashville Airport on board for the race as well. We had a solid run for Kelly Hosch behind the wheel of his #21 car so I really look forward to running for those guys sometime again this season, we just haven’t decided when and where. So we just decided to bring our own car to Nashville because that’s a track I really enjoy racing at,” said Hogan.

The 2007 season was a tough one by the standards of the Cleveland, Georgia native who was held winless in an event for the first time in the last five years. However with the momentum of a top five already in the books not to mention traveling to a racetrack that is among his favorites, look for Hogan’s success to spring back to life early and often in 2008, possibly as early as March 29th when he makes is return to the Music City Motorplex for the All-American 150. The top three finishers in the event will receive a guaranteed starting spot for the All-American 400 in November.
